our story
We created Azendit back in 2010 when we identified a need for improved services for small business. A key issue that we found with small business practices and accounting, was the lack of understanding of key accounting concepts and the use of technology to leverage business. We recognized the small business community needed have a basic understanding of accounting principles along with an understanding of their financial statements. By utilizing Xero and QBO, we were able to provide small business owners with real time insight into the financial position of their business at anytime from anywhere. The key factor we decided on when embarking on this journey with Azendit was to keep the jargon out of the equation, so small business owners could understand the accounting and financial ins and outs of their business in a way that made sense to them.
Gone are the days of just leaving a box of documents with your Accountant and than picking up financial statements and tax return, only to be placed in a drawer and to be never viewed. Modern small business owners need to understand the cash flow position of their business in real time, as competition in many industries is not only local but also on a global scale.

Mistie Bogard - COO

Mistie brings over thirty years experience in both private and public sector administration to the table. She is a certified Bookkeeper and has extensive financial, administrative and records management experience.
She was the lead in the development of a customized ORACLE HTML database to coordinate public sector input into environmental assessment.
She was also instrumental in the development and implementation of new record management systems for government.

Mistie is one of the leading Xero trainers in Western Canada and has diverse bookkeeping experience with clients from a wide range of industries. Her passion for organization will ensure your business is on top of its paperwork at all times.

In her spare time, Mistie enjoys spending time with her family, decorating, designing, reading, biking and kayaking.

In his spare time, Winston enjoys sitting in the long grass watching things, napping, crunchie toss, playing with toys, and enjoying his favorite foods, chicken salad, banana bread and cupcakes.
